Look out! The PDE Alumni are here and ready to study! These young dancers are so energetic and eager to learn they can barely contain themselves! The Prairie Dance Theatre Youth Company was developed in 2006 as a response to highly motivated alumni of the Prairie Dance Experience offering an opportunity to further explore and develop dance technique. The Youth Company trains and rehearses on Saturday afternoons preparing for expanded performance opportunities within the community. The summer intensive has evolved into a Choreography Workshop.
To date, PDT Youth Company has worked with guest artists Laura Ward, Ann Shanks, Desiree Roan and Brandi Gable. The Company has performed in local elementary schools, Science Museum OK Theatre, Stage Centera and Rose State Performing Arts Center sharing the stage with other students and dance professionals.
